Strongly condemn the horrific and brutal murder of child Ramisa and demand the speedy execution of the culprits

The conscience of the entire country is stunned, angry and ashamed today at the brutal murder of our piece of liver, Ramisa, an innocent and ignorant child of the second class in Mirpur of the capital, by slitting her throat and decapitating her. ​Even in the 21st century, why is this hell being created for the children of our country? Why are innocent lives being lost one after another as victims of demonic lust? Such demonic barbarity defeats even the days of ignorance. ​We are observing with great concern that due to the culture of impunity and administrative procrastination in the country, such beasts are getting the courage to get away with it. We, on behalf of the "Legal Assistance Center ASK Foundation", would like to say in clear language - the general public of this country will not accept any kind of delay or deception in the trial of Ramisa's murder. ​Our specific demands on behalf of the Legal Assistance Center ASK Foundation: ​Formation of a speedy trial tribunal: The case of the murder of child Ramisa must be brought to a speedy trial tribunal and the visible judicial process must be completed within the next 7 days. ​Ensuring the maximum punishment (death penalty): The main mastermind and his accomplices must be given the maximum punishment for their crimes, namely hanging, quickly and set an example so that no other criminal dares to commit such a heinous act in the future. ​Law Amendment: Strict laws must be enacted by declaring "hanging" the minimum punishment for rape for the safety of women and children. ​We express our deepest condolences to Ramisa's bereaved family. Legal Aid Center ASK Foundation will stand by Ramisa's family in this fight with legal and moral support until the end. We call on people from all walks of life in the country to speak out against this injustice and take to the streets to protest. ​If the state cannot provide security to our children today, then this development is worthless. We want full and speedy justice for Ramisa!
